🚂 A Slice of History

Where does the name come from? It actually dates back to the golden age of rail travel! 🚂 In the late 1800s, the Pullman Company revolutionized transit with their luxury sleeper cars. 🛤️ Becaus e kitchen space on a moving train was extremely limited, they needed a loaf that was efficient and waste-free. 🤏

The solution was t he lidded Pullman pan, which created a square loaf that produced perfectly uniform slices. This was a game-changer for train chefs, allowing them to prepare consistent, tidy sandwiches for passengers crossing the country and ensuring every slice fit the bread box perfectly. 📏 We adopted this traditional method to bring that same level of precision, structure, and comfort to your home!

📦 Ingredients

Brown rice flour, sorghum flour, tapioca starch, potato starch, whole milk, eggs, butter, sugar, psyllium husk, yeast, xanthan gum, salt.

No seed oils. No artificial flavors. No preservatives.

🔥 Reheating & ❄️ Storage

• Freshness: Keeps at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or refrigerate to extend freshness.
• Freezing Tip: Almost all of our products freeze beautifully! If you aren't planning to eat your loaf within three days, freezing it right away locks in that perfect moisture since we don't use any preservatives. 🧊 We highly recommend slicing the loaf before freezing so you can easily pull out a single piece for the toaster whenever you need it! ❄️
• Important Heating Note: Always let your frozen slice or full loaf thaw completely at room temperature before warming or toasting to preserve the soft structure of the crumb.

Because we bake everything fresh to order from scratch without preservatives, all order ahead requests must be placed by 6 PM the day before pickup or shipping. Please note that orders placed late in the evening may not be available for early morning pickup the following day to allow us the time needed to bake your items fresh! 🕒✨
